Appearance and design of the cabin
In terms of the design of the Gazelle-Next cabin, the farmer differs significantly from its predecessor. The developers worked hard on its new image, focusing on streamlining, highlighting optics elements, and, of course, the massive radiator grille cannot be ignored. The “farmer” cabin has two rows of seats – six for passengers and one for the driver. This time, GAZ engineers took care of comfortable entry and exit of rear seat passengers and added an additional door for passengers to the cabin. The Gazelle-Next farmer with a manufactured goods van allows you to transport six people (without a driver) and a load of up to 1.2 tons - thanks to these functions, the vehicle becomes a reliable help in various areas of business.
Design Features
The frame of a manufactured goods van is made from profiles and then covered with clad metal. The edges are finished with a facing corner. The rubber seal installed on the doors provides additional tightness of the van. If it is necessary to secure cargo, the van's equipment can be supplemented with the installation of rigging rails and fastening loops.
Modifications
The model with a two-row cabin is serially produced in the classic version with a cargo chassis length of 2.4 m and a length of 3 m, and there is also the possibility of extending the chassis up to 4 m, which allows you to install a manufactured goods van with a volume of up to 17 m3 (4.2x2, 1x2.2 m).
The GAZelle NEXT utility vehicle with a two-row cabin went into production
Serial production of the cargo-passenger version of the GAZelle NEXT light commercial vehicle has started in Nizhny Novgorod.
According to the press service of the GAZ Group, the car is equipped with a comfortable cabin with two rows of seats and an additional door. To release the new model and other modifications of the NEXT family, large-scale work was carried out to modernize production at the Gorky Automobile Plant of the GAZ Group. The main changes affected the painting production, where it was planned to replace painting robots with the most modern automatic machines produced by the French company Sames. The new line will provide higher corrosion resistance of car bodies and cabins, increase the number of colors and increase the degree of automation of the painting process.
New robots have been installed on the cab welding line, which are necessary for the production of the NEXT medium-duty truck. The GAZelle NEXT cargo-passenger modification is intended for use in all areas of business, in the work of municipal services, and for transporting repair and service crews. Cars with a two-row cab continued the development of the new generation GAZelle NEXT line of light commercial vehicles, the production of which started at GAZ in April 2013 with an on-board model with standard and extended platform options. Based on the base model, a full line of commercial vehicles with a gross weight from 2.8 to 5 tons is created, including: cargo-passenger modifications with a double-row cabin, frame buses with 19 seats, all-metal vans and minibuses, as well as more than 100 modifications of special equipment. The car with a double-row cab is available in two versions: with standard (GAZ A22R22) and extended (GAZ A22R32) wheelbases.
A distinctive feature of the new car compared to the cargo-passenger version of the GAZelle BUSINESS is the presence of an additional door in the rear of the cabin. The width of the doorway is 63 cm. The presence of a third door allows not only to increase the convenience of entry and exit for rear row passengers, but also to increase the number of passenger seats to six.
The spacious cabin is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable trip: an additional heater, a 12V socket in the rear, an additional grab handle, coat hooks and illuminated running boards. All vehicles with a double-row cab are equipped with a preheater and a high-capacity battery.
The basic equipment of the cargo-passenger modification of the NEXT car also includes cruise control, electric windows and heated mirrors, a door open indicator, front and rear anti-roll bars, a height-adjustable steering column and an on-board computer. The long wheelbase also comes standard with ABS. Available options include a rear axle differential lock and a five-level adjustable driver's seat. Created on the basis of the best technical solutions, NEXT family vehicles meet the most modern standards of ergonomics, reliability, and safety. The design of the car and the selection of design options were carried out based on a thorough study of consumer opinions and using the engineering resources of the world's leading manufacturers of components and components.
