About Buhler tractors

The Canadian tractor Buller 2357, working in the field for sowing, is capable of cultivating up to 80 hectares of land, and for plowing - up to 35 hectares in just one shift! In the first case, fuel consumption is 5.6 l/ha, in the second – 12-12.8 l/ha, which is an undoubted advantage of such powerful equipment. Also, referring to reviews from farmers, among the advantages we can highlight:

  • saving not only fuel, but also working resources (according to farmers, Büller can replace up to five T-150 units for plowing and up to eight for sowing);
  • reasonable price for a quality product (11-12 million rubles per unit);
  • technical level (modern control module, presence of a distributor that prevents the entry of low-quality fuel);
  • high cross-country ability due to twin wheels;
  • The salon is equipped with air conditioning and radio equipment.

However, when purchasing, you need to take into account that the Buller 2357 spare parts catalog is not very accessible to domestic users - if there is a breakdown, you will have to wait a long time for any part if it is not in stock at the dealer. And the unit itself cannot be purchased new and is freely available - only upon request.

Among the technical characteristics, the vulnerable unit is the hitch, which does not involve intensive work with heavy equipment (cultivators, plows).

Buller competes in its power category with the K-744 P3 and Belalus-3022, which are cheaper and more “repairable”. Plus, many domestic tractors are equipped with a hydraulic linkage, which is often used in agricultural enterprises.

Maintenance

Buhler Versatile tractors are professional agricultural equipment with high technical characteristics. And to maintain them in working condition, it is necessary to carry out maintenance and repair work in accordance with the operating instructions.

  1. The engine oil should be changed after 1000 operating hours. In the cold season, it is necessary to use the M-8G2k brand. In summer, the user manual recommends using M-10G2k.
  2. For transmission, TEP-15v or TAP-15v is best suited. The transmission oil should be changed every 2000 hours of operation.
  3. Before changing the oil, be sure to warm up the engine, this will make the lubricant less viscous and make it easier to flow out of the mechanism. The waste must be drained into a specially prepared container.
  4. To operate the engine, it is recommended to use clean and fresh diesel, which must meet established quality standards. It should not contain foreign impurities or sediment.

Repair of major faults

Buhler Versatile tractors are considered high-quality equipment. However, sooner or later breakdowns occur that can negatively affect the technical characteristics and performance of the machine.

You can fix most problems yourself. The manufacturer described in detail how to solve most of them in the operating instructions.

If a large amount of dust gets into the cabin, then here is what could cause this:

    • The filter is not installed correctly (you need to install it in the correct position);
  1. The filter is damaged or clogged (clean it or replace it);
  2. Dust entering through openings in the floor, doors or windows (they must be eliminated).

If the tractor vibrates too much during operation, the following factors could lead to this:

    • The seat or suspension is incorrectly adjusted;
  1. The ballast is incorrectly installed;
  2. Excessive tire pressure;
  3. The attachment is not connected correctly or is not suitable for the application.

If the Bühler tractor jumps and behaves erratically during operation, then here is what could cause this:

    • The ballast position is incorrectly set;
  1. The size, shape, type or pressure of the tires does not comply with the established standards.

Owner reviews

Below are several reviews from thematic forums about the operation of Buller tractors and their technical characteristics:

Igor : “I worked more than 4,500 hours on the 2375th. All breakdowns were due to my oversight. The gearbox failed twice: the crosspiece broke (later remade for KAMAZ) and the bearings were replaced due to natural wear. The engine runs like a clock. The main thing is to carry out maintenance on time. The corrugation on the exhaust pipe was replaced twice and the battery was changed once. It is comfortable to work on, the cabin is comfortable and does not shake. The steering is light and effortless. Fuel consumption during cultivation is approximately 6 l/ha. I change the oil after 250 hours of operation."

BUNKERY DOZUVANNYA

The birthplace of DMC Primera is six models “00” with a grip from 3 to 12 m. They are equipped with non-pressurized bunkers with a capacity of 4.5–8 m³.
