Model range of motor-cultivator Neva MK-100
The favorite in the popularity rating is the Neva MK-100-07 model and its modification Neva MK-100-07R. They are almost identical, except for the fact that the second option has protective discs that prevent crop plants from being drawn into the working body when weeding rows.
One of the latest versions of the Neva MK-100-08 also deserves attention despite the reduced engine power. Mainly, preference is given to it when purchasing due to its configuration. It is expanded and has a number of useful additions, for example:
- Hitch;
- Plow;
- Universal hiller;
- Flat cutter;
- Lugs;
- Potato planter.
It is equipped with a new engine of the Robin-Subaru EX 13 brand. Older versions of the motor cultivator, for example, Neva MK-100-04, by comparison, have much less weight (and a smaller fuel tank volume), which is not always convenient in practice when cultivating heavy soils. This model is equipped with a 4-stroke Honda GC135, just like the Neva MK-100-05. On older Neva MK-100-02 models, American modifications of Briggs Stratton were installed instead of Japanese engines.

Coupling mechanism
The hitch allows you to attach a trolley to the MK-100 motor cultivators, thanks to which the unit turns into a universal transport vehicle. The trolley can be used to transport crops or small loads, transport collected waste from the site, etc.
Installation of cutter
As standard, the MK-100 is equipped with four cutters, with the ability to install 2 more. On other modifications of the unit it is possible to attach attachments. Reviews from owners of this type of equipment confirm that many of them independently install various additional equipment on the cultivator. Videos with detailed instructions can be found on the Internet.
Mounting cutters
The cutter is attached using bolts, nuts and an adjustable wrench. This simple set of tools allows you to quickly prepare the cultivator for work. The front support wheel will provide convenience for the operator during replacement; the unit will not need to be suspended or supported by anything.
Protective disk
Protective discs are attached to cutters in a similar way - manually, using simple tools and fasteners included in the kit. Please note that mounting hardware is only included if you purchased a cultivator model that comes with discs.
When purchasing protective disks separately, you must immediately purchase fasteners for them. They are not included in the package.

The transmission for this motor cultivator, depending on the model, is a V-belt or gear-chain drive. As for the design, it is designed so that the center of gravity is as low as possible. If the cultivator is insufficiently heavy, additional weight can be installed directly on the stand located at the front.
Among the design features, the folding wheel used for transporting the tool stands out. Dimensions allow it to fit even in the trunk of a passenger car.

Neva MK-100 - design and capabilities of the unit
The Neva MK-100 cultivator can be equipped with a gear-coupling or V-belt transmission. The entire design of the models is assembled in such a way that the center of gravity is as low as possible. If the physical weight of the cultivator is not enough for effective plowing, then the unit can be weighted with additional weight. To do this, the load should be placed on a stand in the front of the cultivator.
The design of most models is equipped with a folding wheel, which is used to transport the unit when it is turned off. Small dimensions make it easy to transport the car in the trunk of a car.
A 4-stroke engine has an undeniable advantage - it emits a minimal amount of exhaust into the air and consumes much less fuel than 2-stroke engines. Modern models of cultivators consume no more than 280 g/hour of operation.
Thanks to a well-thought-out design, the unit shows excellent performance. It copes well with tall weeds, pumps large volumes of water at a time, and can be used for plowing heavy, dry soils. Compared to analogues in this price category, it fails much less often, even under intensive use conditions.
