Kirovets K 9000 is one of the most popular tractors from the St. Petersburg plant. This device, one might say, embodies the enormous experience of engineers, many of whom, in fact, come from the USSR. Soviet experience in mechanical engineering made it possible to create technology in which proven technical solutions did not prevent the use of more modern technologies. The result is a rational tractor, thought out to the smallest detail, and compliant with international standards and regulations. Moreover, in many respects the machine is not inferior to many modern analogues. The K-9000 series tractor manages to combine performance, versatility, innovative technology, and support for a large number of attachments. The model in question received its last update in 2012, when the 50th anniversary of the founding of the famous Kirovets brand took place. The K-9000 series is the latest and most modern, on the basis of which more than ten modifications for various purposes are now produced.

Kirovets K-9000 is mainly used in agriculture and is intended for inter-row soil cultivation. The machine successfully participates in pre-sowing preparation, and is ideal for hilling, cultivating, harrowing, plowing the soil, as well as other land cultivation methods. This model is also useful in processing virgin soil. The Kirovets K-9000 tractor series has extensive potential and is designed for use in harsh climatic zones. Its capabilities can be appreciated in loading and transporting cargo containers - these can be either heavy concrete structures or bulk materials - sand, soil, snow, etc. The machine is in demand in housing and communal services, in the patching of roads and others types of activities.

In addition, to specifically improve cross-country ability, the chassis uses “no-spin” technology, which controls the operation of all-wheel drive. Each axle has individual gearboxes consisting of differential and cross-wheel mechanisms that can be automatically locked. In the final drive, as well as the axle gearbox, the gear transmission is designed in such a way as to provide the highest possible agricultural clearance. The brakes are drum type, reinforced with a pneumatic drive.
4. The articulated frame design of the K-9000 family of tractors has a fairly flexible layout. This allows the hinges to work in vertical and horizontal planes, resulting in the machine more accurately following the terrain. Due to this, it was possible to increase maneuverability and improve smoothness when driving over uneven places. Please note that the frame has a rotation angle of 16 degrees in the horizontal plane, in each direction. The turning radius, taking into account the external wheels, is 7400 mm. This is enough to unleash the potential of the tractor. The machine is equipped with everything necessary for inter-row tillage. The tractor operates smoothly, without much noise and vibration, which are characteristic of its predecessors, on which I had the opportunity to practice. The model is quite modern and reliable, but not without its shortcomings. For example, due to the large number of imported mechanisms and complex design, the maintainability of the tractor suffered. In short, if something happens (if there is some serious problem), then you cannot do without a specialized service center. Most components require special attention and need to be configured. In general, this requires highly specialized knowledge. Fortunately, so far all repair work is planned and carried out exclusively during maintenance.
• Vladimir, Stavropol region. The Kirovets K-9000 is a powerful tractor that can be compared with foreign analogues. In terms of equipment, the car does not differ from imported cars. Unfortunately, this also applies to maintainability. Many foreign parts have to be ordered and waited for months. That is why in our Russian conditions we need a donor - exactly the same tractor. This makes it much easier to maintain the car. In terms of performance, the K-9450 model pleased us with a torque of 2000 N/m and a power of 335 horsepower. Fuel consumption is gigantic, but the engine never choke, and there is always enough traction. This creates ample opportunities when using huge wide-cut implements. I also liked the layout of the cabin - the controls are located well, within reach. The glass area is wide enough to see the road and what is happening around the tractor.
