Motoblocks and motor-cultivators Zubr

Who is the manufacturer

Zubr is a brand that represents the Chinese approach to agricultural technology. The Zubr walk-behind tractor is chosen by gardeners who prefer functional and reliable equipment. The equipment is produced at two Chinese factories (in the cities of Zhangzhou and Yangcheng). Here they make diesel and gasoline walk-behind tractors and cultivators, as well as attachments that expand the capabilities of motor vehicles.

The official one exports its products to Europe, Asia, and the American continent. All manufactured equipment meets international standards and has certificates of conformity valid in the West.

Advantages of Zubr technology:

  • “Zubr” equipment is considered universal, since the Chinese manufacturer sells attachments;
  • high quality components, they are available to Russian consumers;
  • temperature changes that affect operation are taken into account;
  • non-proprietary equipment can be used;
  • any Zubr walk-behind tractor can be converted into a mini-tractor.

On a note!

The price of Zubr walk-behind tractors depends on engine power, design nuances, equipment, etc.

Zubr models

The manufacturer produces two large groups of walk-behind tractors - those running on diesel fuel and gasoline. Agricultural technology differs in cooling methods. Lighter devices use air-cooled motors. Powerful and heavy units are equipped with water-cooled motors.

Diesel

The Chinese manufacturer offers several models running on diesel fuel. They differ in motor power, type of cooling, starting and cooling methods, and number of speeds.

PS-Q74

This walk-behind tractor has a four-stroke air-cooled engine. Motor power – 4 l. With. Dimensions: LxWxH, cm – 143x52x82, used for processing small plots of land and greenhouses.

Description of the Zubr walk-behind tractors

If you don’t know which unit to choose for yourself, you need to first decide on some points. First you need to find out what size your plot is. If your garden is only 2-3 acres, special equipment will not pay for itself. You can easily process such an area manually or take a closer look at very light electrically controlled machines. The same applies to caring for flower beds.

If your garden is 30-40 acres in size, then you need a powerful, heavy Zubr walk-behind tractor. As you know, all such equipment runs on either gasoline or diesel.

The first option will cost less, but the fuel itself is quite expensive today. Gasoline products are less powerful, but no less reliable. They are designed for smaller areas. A diesel walk-behind tractor is noisier and heavier, but also more durable, more powerful and reliable.

A diesel walk-behind tractor can cope with even the most difficult work; it can reach high speeds and transport huge loads. Moreover, it is precisely these models that are most often converted into mini tractors, which will make your work even easier and open up new opportunities.

You also need to decide for what purpose you are purchasing this agricultural equipment. If the walk-behind tractor will only be used for cultivating a small garden, then take a closer look at simplified gasoline models. If you have a large area with a difficult type of land, and you also want to take care of your garden plot, then choose diesel products.

Features of the Zubr walk-behind tractor:

  1. Availability of spare parts. If it breaks, you can always buy and replace the damaged part;
  2. The heavy unit is capable of cultivating soil on an area of up to 2 hectares. In this case, the depth to which the land will be cultivated will be up to 30 centimeters;
  3. Fuel consumption is minimal. This will allow you to work on the unit for many hours in a row without interruption;
  4. The engine is air or water cooled, so you can work without problems even at high outdoor temperatures without fear of system overheating;
  5. During use, you will have to control the tension less often thanks to the gear transmission and the presence of a disc clutch;
  6. You can choose from two types of starter: electric starter or spring starter.

The Zubr walk-behind tractor in its category is considered not only one of the most highly efficient and multifunctional, but it has also displaced foreign analogues in the agricultural machinery market.

It is worth remembering that walk-behind tractors are not an alternative to tractors. Of course, they are capable of performing complex work on the ground, but they are not as powerful and multifunctional. However, you can always convert a diesel walk-behind tractor into a mini tractor yourself, and the attachments, the variety of which is simply amazing, can significantly expand the capabilities of the unit.

To significantly extend the service life of a diesel unit, it must first be run in. In the operating instructions you will find recommendations on how to do this process, what you should pay attention to and how to avoid mistakes. As a result, your technique will be able to show the best results in endurance and power.

Attachments

Thanks to a variety of attachments, Zubr equipment can be used for a wide variety of tasks. Devices that can be purchased in addition to the walk-behind tractor can significantly expand its capabilities.

Rotators

Soil tillers can perform several agricultural tasks at once, allowing you to simplify the process of cultivating the land.

Rotary cutter functions:

  • plowing and soil cultivation;
  • destruction of weeds;
  • improves soil aeration;
  • qualitatively mixes soil layers;
  • levels the surface of the area;
  • processes complex, floating soils;
  • applies fertilizers for plowing.

offers two rototiller options - saber and crow's feet.

On a note!

The use of soil cutters allows you to effectively destroy not only annual but also perennial weeds.

Mowers

By attaching the mower to a mini-tractor, it can be used for cutting hay, collecting straw, and mowing lawns. Zubr offers three options for mowers:

  • rotary;
  • segmental;
  • frontal.

Snow removal devices

In winter, thanks to special attachments, the walk-behind tractor turns into a snow removal equipment. Thus, the equipment does not stand idle in winter, but performs new, unexpected work.

The manufacturer offers three options for snow removal equipment:

  1. Blade shovel. With its help it is convenient to remove thick snow.
  2. Brush. Helps effectively clear the yard of light snow cover.
  3. Auger snow blower. This device collects, crushes and throws snow, all in one working cycle. Typically, auger snow blowers are used to remove freshly fallen snow.

Plow

With the help of a mounted plow, Zubr walk-behind tractors plow the ground deeply and efficiently. It is used instead of rototillers to plow the soil to a significant depth - up to 30 cm. Plows can be double or single. The working width of units with double plows reaches 80 cm.

Lug wheels

Lugs are metal equipment that replaces pneumatic wheels. During movement, the lugs simultaneously loosen the soil. This equipment is usually installed on heavy-duty walk-behind tractors. The lugs make the mini-tractor heavier, facilitating better soil processing.

Potato planters

With the help of potato planters, farmers, summer residents, owners of vegetable gardens and personal plots can automate the process of planting potatoes. Attachments can significantly facilitate the process and reduce the time of planting root crops.

Potato planter functions:

  • makes furrows;
  • a special mechanism lowers the tubers into the furrows, maintaining equal intervals between them;
  • covers the potatoes with soil and hills them up at the same time.

Potato digger

This equipment fully automates the process of digging up tubers. With its help, the tubers are removed from the soil, shaken off, and thrown onto the ground. There are two types of trailed equipment - vibrating and screening.

On a note!

Potato diggers can be used not only for collecting potatoes; they can be used to dig up beets, carrots, turnips and other root vegetables.

Hitch

A hitch is an element with which attachments and trailed equipment are connected to a walk-behind tractor. Most models are sold without hitches, so they must be purchased separately. offers a universal hitch with which you can expand the functionality of walk-behind tractors.

Adapter

An adapter is a kind of cart that consists of several elements: wheels, frame, seats. The adapter is attached to the walk-behind tractor using a hitch. It also has footrests and a brake lever. Thanks to the adapter, the unit turns into a mini-tractor with a seat.

The unit, equipped with an adapter, turns into a comfortable piece of equipment that makes hard agricultural work easier. Together with the adapter, other attachments can be attached to the walk-behind tractor - a mower, a plow, a milling cutter, etc.

Trailer

The trailed trolley is attached to the walk-behind tractor using a hitch. It is used to transport bulk or piece goods. It is convenient to use for transporting fertilizers, harvested crops, etc. The trailer is used in conjunction with an adapter - a person can operate a mini-tractor while sitting on a comfortable seat.

Hillers

Working body for processing loosened soil. With the help of hillers, you can not only hill up the soil, but also carry out other agricultural activities - weeding, cutting furrows for seedlings or planting tubers. It is convenient to hill up plants planted in rows - the working element, passing along the rows, moves the soil into the rows.

The main purpose of hillers is to hill up potatoes in order to increase the yield. There are hillers with fixed and variable soil coverage widths. There are models with wings and disk ones. The disadvantage of hillers is that part of the earth rolls back into the rut being made.

Weights

Weights help walk-behind tractors that are prone to slipping better cope with their functions. Weights, increasing the weight of the equipment, allow the cutters to sink deeper into the ground. They also stabilize work on sloping sites and hard soils, which simultaneously increases work efficiency and simplifies work.

Pneumatic tires

Wheels 4.00-8 are included. They can be attached to a trailer, mower, or snow blower. The wheel consists of a rubber tire, a tube and a collapsible disk. The wheels are suitable for working on the ground and for moving loads.

Crawler attachment

With a tracked attachment, the walk-behind tractor can move through swampy and heavy soils. Units equipped with tracks can be used in the off-season. The caterpillars move easily through the snow. A crawler walk-behind tractor becomes a vehicle - you can use it to get to a hunting or fishing spot.

Walk-behind tractor models

When cultivating land today, you can use one of three types of walk-behind tractors: light, medium, heavy.

Important
: when choosing a walk-behind tractor, you must take into account the density of the soil to be processed with its help. Heavier soil requires heavier machinery.

The Zubr-8 walk-behind tractor has proven itself well among owners of summer cottages. This model is characterized by increased maneuverability due to large-diameter wheels, versatility, low fuel consumption, the ability to cultivate heavy soils without additional weight of the unit, efficiency and power.

The Zubr-8 walk-behind tractor cultivates the soil in a strip 80 cm wide and up to 20 cm deep. Reviews from landowners using the Zubr-8 also note the ability to quickly and efficiently cultivate the soil.

In addition to standard operations, the Zubr-8 walk-behind tractor can hill up a plant, preliminary dig up root crops before their final assembly, plant some vegetable crops, and mow the grass.

Important
: the Zubr 8 liter walk-behind tractor requires significant physical strength, because with a weight of 190 kg it belongs to the category of heavy walk-behind tractors.
Main technical characteristics of the walk-behind tractor:

  • engine power - 8 horsepower;
  • tank volume - eight liters;
  • The gearbox has been modernized: forward gears - 6, rear - 2.

Important
: the new Zubr-8 is run-in before regular use; during run-in, all the main connecting parts must be fixed.

The Zubr-8 walk-behind tractor has a water-cooled engine, thanks to which the equipment performs well even during prolonged operation at high air temperatures.

The Zubr 10 l walk-behind tractor weighs 230 kg. By filling the device once, you can process 3 hectares of any soil, including heavy soil. The Zubr-10 walk-behind tractor is quite compact and mobile, can easily be deployed in one place, and is also easy to control.

The Zubr-12 l walk-behind tractor is necessary primarily for farmers to cultivate large areas of land.

These diesel motoblocks “Bison” are one of the most powerful in the heavy group. There are practically no restrictions on the use of a walk-behind tractor when performing various agricultural works. “Zubr-12” is a successful analogue of a mini-tractor at an affordable price.

Important
: when using the Zubr-12 as a mini-tractor, it is necessary to additionally equip it with an adapter with a seat, which will make operating the walk-behind tractor more comfortable.

Technical characteristics of "Zubr-12":

  • engine power - 12 liters. With.;
  • tank volume - 8.5 l;
  • starting with an electric starter.

“Zubr-12” is a heavy machine weighing 300 kg, cultivates the soil in a strip of 90 cm, processing depth is 18 cm.

The Zubr 105 walk-behind tractor is characterized by increased demand among consumers.

This model is distinguished by its relatively light weight - 90 kg, and therefore the Zubr 105 walk-behind tractor is not capable of performing all possible operations, namely deep and complex tillage. At the same time, it is carried out efficiently using a 6 hp walk-behind tractor. plowing the soil is the main characteristic of the unit.

Using a mechanism that weighs 120 kg, the soil is processed in strips 105 cm wide, the plowing depth is from 10 to 30 cm.

Technical characteristics of "Zubr-105":

  • tank volume - 3.5 l;
  • launch - manual;
  • gearbox - 2 forward speeds, 1 reverse.

During intensive work, the walk-behind tractor consumes 1.5 liters of fuel (unleaded gasoline) per hour.

All models of the Zubr walk-behind tractor are made with the farmer in mind. The device has an active rototiller with a plow, easy-to-use handles that make it easy to operate the mechanism, and a special trailer hook. Gardeners and farmers also appreciate the presence of a headlight, which allows them to continue working at dusk, and the ability to easily cultivate virgin land.

And lovers of outdoor activities use it as a means of transportation to a fishing spot and speak highly of the walk-behind tractor’s ability to move over rough terrain.

The Bison is a heavy 8 hp walk-behind tractor that stands out for its high power among other walk-behind tractors, and it is suitable not only for large private plots, but also for small farms. Motoblocks have long been firmly established in the lives of farmers, gardeners and ordinary citizens who often work on their plots. These devices are widely used for their versatility and autonomy. The walk-behind tractor solves a wide range of problems when working on the ground. The autonomy of such devices lies in the fact that this unit is equipped with an internal combustion engine, which is why the user of the walk-behind tractor (cultivator) is not tied to the “outlet”, because There is no need to charge batteries or run wires to power the device. In addition, these devices are equipped with a transmission, the main task of which is to transmit traction torque to special units and/or wheels of the cultivator.

Motoblock Zubr 8 l. With.

Motor cultivators differ:

  • by type of destination;
  • by structural component (light manual/light trolley type, medium, heavy);

For such devices, there are a large variety of different devices for working “in the field”, this is the main advantage of such devices.

The main purpose of motor cultivators is to assist the user in working on the ground, which includes:

  • plowing the soil;
  • hilling;
  • harrowing;
  • removing unwanted elements from the soil.

In addition to this range of work, this device is universal and will help in:

  • snow removal;
  • transportation of goods;
  • moving over short distances.

For the Zubr 8 walk-behind tractor there is a large number of attachments,

and due to the torque take-off shafts, it becomes possible to solve several problems simultaneously. This universal multi-cultivator will help the owner in various tasks, in any conditions, be it clearing snow in the cold or working on the ground on a hot summer day.

Comparison with analogues

On the market, Zubr walk-behind tractors have a competitor that offers equipment at a similar cost - Centaur. This technique is also made in China.

Comparison of the Centaur and Bison equipment:

  1. Among the "Zubrov" there is equipment with a capacity of 4-12 hp. With. The Centaurs have a maximum power of 13 hp. With.
  2. Both manufacturers have models with petrol and diesel engines. In high-performance units, models of both brands have an additional electric starter.
  3. Thanks to the PTO (power take-off shaft), any special equipment can be attached to the Zubr and Centaur walk-behind tractors. Both manufacturers produce a wide range of attachments - mowers, cultivators, etc.
  4. The cost of “Bison” is in the range of 20-70 thousand rubles, the price of “Centaurs” is 16-65 thousand rubles.

Motoblocks "Zubr" are neither superior nor inferior to "Centaur" either in characteristics or functionality. Chinese technology shows good performance, is reliable and versatile. And compared to Western technology, Chinese units are significantly more expensive.

Motoblocks and motor-cultivators Zubr

Motoblocks appeared everywhere relatively recently. Just 30 years ago they were not produced in our country. The reason for this is simple - on collective farms, which were the main form of farming in the USSR, the land was cultivated with powerful tractors.

Only a few “Kulibins” created something like a walk-behind tractor for cultivating their own plot using improvised means. Such homemade products immediately became the envy of all fellow villagers. Of course, a hand-held, multifunctional tool for cultivating land is just the dream of a Soviet farmer or summer resident.

But with the collapse of the USSR, a new era began - the time of walk-behind tractors. Large farms began to disintegrate. Private household plots and small farms began to take their place. For such farms, buying a full-fledged tractor is very difficult, and often there is no need. The walk-behind tractor coped well with all the work, replacing several types of equipment at once. With the growing popularity of walk-behind tractors, the number of their manufacturers and models has also grown. At the moment, the variety of this technology is so great that it is very difficult to make a choice.

A long-awaited addition to the ZUBR line of mechanized equipment. Cultivators and walk-behind tractors of various categories and configurations open up wide opportunities for performing a variety of agricultural and economic work.

Buying small mechanized equipment involves choosing between a cultivator and a walk-behind tractor. The main difference lies in their purpose: a cultivator specializes in loosening the soil and pre-planting preparation, while walk-behind tractors, in addition to the same tasks, are also suitable for cleaning the territory, removing snow, mowing, transporting goods, etc. If the device will be used exclusively for If you are cultivating soil on a plot of no more than 20 acres, then a cultivator will be the best option. The need for a multifunctional machine both for cultivating the soil and for mowing, transporting cargo and removing snow indicates that you need a walk-behind tractor.

A cultivator is a lightweight agricultural machine for cultivating the soil with cutters, equipped with a limited set of attachments.

The walk-behind tractor is a universal machine for solving a wide range of tasks in the garden: plowing, cultivating, cutting furrows, hilling, watering, planting and harvesting potatoes, as well as mowing grass and transporting cargo. Thanks to the ability to install all types of attachments, walk-behind tractors are suitable for year-round use - for example, clearing snow in winter.

Depending on the area of the cultivated area and its structure, cultivators and walk-behind tractors can be divided into the following categories:

The lightweight cultivator (up to 20 kg) has a compact size and easily fits in the trunk of a car. Suitable for processing small areas (flower beds, garden beds, greenhouses) or plots of up to 5 acres. Not intended for virgin lands due to its low weight.

The medium cultivator (20–50 kg) has excellent maneuverability and has proven itself in cultivated soils. Due to its small size, it copes well in limited areas when processing row spacing. An example of such a cultivator is MKT-150. Economical four-stroke BISON engine with a displacement of 98 cm? Consumes significantly less fuel compared to a two-stroke engine of similar power. A low-speed gearbox transfers up to 95% of the engine power to the cutters, while a worm gearbox only transfers about 50%. A working width of 45 cm and a depth of up to 25 cm allows you to process areas of up to 10 acres.

A heavy cultivator (from 50 kg) is a powerful and large-sized piece of equipment. The most effective option for large-scale work and plowing large areas (more than 10 acres), reducing the cost of time and effort. Models of this type are MKT-170 and MKT-200. The working width is from 55 to 85 cm, depending on the number of installed cutters and the processing depth (up to 33 cm). The presence of reverse increases the maneuverability of the devices, which is especially important in areas with a complex configuration or in a limited area.

A medium walk-behind tractor (60–100 kg) is used for loosening the soil, cleaning the garden, plowing or hilling the area and removing snow. This category includes MTB-300 and MTB-400. The models are equipped with a powerful four-stroke BISON engine with a displacement of 212 cm? And a cast iron gearbox. The attachment is mounted on a bracket in the front of the walk-behind tractor, and the drive is made from the drive pulley. The same bracket is used when operating a walk-behind tractor with a snow blade. Most of the remaining equipment is secured with a hitch at the rear of the walk-behind tractor. A processing width of 85 cm and a depth of up to 35 cm, as well as several forward and 1 reverse speeds, make the models an excellent choice for plots of more than 15 acres.

A heavy walk-behind tractor (with a power take-off shaft, from 100 kg) is a multifunctional machine with a power take-off shaft (PTO), capable of performing many jobs all year round thanks to the large number of available attachments. Such a device is suitable for preparing land for sowing in spring, cutting grass in summer, chopping leaves in autumn and removing snow in winter.

User manual

Each Zubr walk-behind tractor comes with instructions and descriptions. All blocks and assemblies are illustrated with technical drawings. The instructions also contain the characteristics of the Zubr walk-behind tractors, instructions for their start-up and running-in.

How to start

Before starting the walk-behind tractor, you must carefully study the instructions, especially the “Running in” chapter. First launch." If mistakes are made during the first start-up, the equipment may break down in the first hours of operation.

You cannot use the walk-behind tractor without running in the engine. After starting it for the first time, you need to break in the engine. This will allow small parts to rub in, and as a result, the equipment will avoid breakdowns. The motor starts to operate at low loads. Run-in should last from 5 to 20 hours. Attachments are not used during break-in.

The procedure for running the walk-behind tractor:

  1. The walk-behind tractor is completely filled with fuel.
  2. Oil is poured into the oil tank.
  3. If the engine is water cooled, add water.
  4. Lubricate all rubbing parts with oil.
  5. Check the reliability of the fastenings.
  6. Check the tension belts.
  7. Turn on the unit at idle speed.
  8. Allow the unit to operate at each speed. The duration of operation at speed is indicated in the instructions.
  9. Check the brake system, steering, etc.
  10. After running in, they move on to maintenance.

After the first start and break-in, you need to change the oil, and the walk-behind tractor can operate at full power.

Maintenance

For equipment to work properly, it needs maintenance. All steps are described in detail in the instructions.

Maintenance procedure:

  • measuring oil and fuel levels;
  • Change of oil;
  • cleaning equipment elements from contamination;
  • lubrication of rubbing parts - the names of oils are indicated in the instructions for the equipment;
  • checking and tightening fasteners;
  • once a month – technical inspection;
  • diagnostics at the service center.

Attention!

To refuel gasoline models, use only high-quality unleaded gasoline - AI-92, and SE, SF, SG motor oils. For diesel models - SA, SV, SS, CD oil and high-quality diesel fuel.

When field work is completed, the equipment is preserved - dirt is removed, dried, gasoline/diesel fuel and oil are drained, rubbing elements are lubricated and, covered with a tarpaulin, placed in a garage or other dry room.

How to fix breakdowns

Motoblocks that are properly operated and undergo timely inspection are protected from unexpected breakdowns. If they are small, you can eliminate them yourself.

A common failure is the inability to start the engine. How to fix:

  1. Spark plug problems. If it is burnt, wet, or smoked, the engine will not start. A burnt and wet candle is replaced, and a sooty candle is cleaned. The problem often arises due to an unset gap - it needs to be set.
  2. Clogged filter. Needs to be replaced.
  3. No fuel supply. It is necessary to check the fuel line - it may be clogged. If this happens, you need to replace the hose and clean the carburetor - in models running on gasoline.
  4. The magneto burned out (converts mechanical energy into electrical energy). Needs to be replaced and adjusted.

Reasons for engine heating:

  • low oil level;
  • contamination of the engine or ventilation;
  • foreign object entering the muffler;
  • loss of spark in the spark plug.

Vibration of equipment indicates incorrect installation of cutters, damage or loosening of fasteners.

Owner reviews

  • Kirill, Ekaterinoslavl. Zubr 8 is a good monoblock, reliable and highly maintainable. The design is simple, there is nothing special to break there. And if so, you can find spare parts for it in every technical store or at a flea market. The bison copes with its tasks with dignity. Only the engine would be a little more powerful, and then there would be no price for it. I bought a trailer for construction transportation for him.
  • Pavel, Samara region. The walk-behind tractor was given to me for good services to the residents of the village in which I work. The cultivator impresses with its small size and great functionality. With this kind of technology you can squeeze through anywhere, it’s not like dealing with a turtle tractor. The bison consumes 2 liters per hundred, maintenance costs are minimal.
  • Alexander, Priozersk. Zubr 8 is a decent walk-behind tractor for its class. Initially, the choice was between the basic 6-horsepower version and the 12-horsepower version, but in the end I will settle on the golden mean - a model with an 8-horsepower diesel engine. It is quite enough for my needs. Revolving and torquey engine, with a good power reserve. Although it must be admitted that under extreme loads the power may be just short of enough, and at the same time fuel consumption increases. By the way, for me it is around 2-4 liters, depending on the load. I would like to note the energy-intensive suspension, large wheels with deep tread, stylish design and compact dimensions. In general, an excellent replacement for a clumsy tractor.
  • Vasily, Murmansk. I should have bought another model. This Bison constantly has something leaking, the gears are switched on every other time, and the fuel consumption could be less. Besides, the roar of the engine is just some kind of helicopter. But it’s okay, for that kind of money you can endure it.
  • Dmitry, Tver region. Overall I liked the walk-behind tractor, but I expected more. Still, the 8-horsepower engine is not enough, it was necessary to take a more powerful version. As a last resort, the Bison is suitable for cultivating and plowing small areas.
  • Alexey, Ryazan. I was pleasantly surprised after two weeks of using the Zubr 8 walk-behind tractor. My impression of it was purely positive. Yes, there are minor shortcomings such as not very good fit of parts and uneven gaps. The motor is powerful, but rumbles quite loudly. Consumes an average of 2 liters per 100 km. 8 strength is more than enough for me. In addition, I work with small plots of land, so this model is just right for me. After six months of use, the 3-speed gearbox began to engage unclearly, which also began to howl. It’s good that the walk-behind tractor is under warranty - I took it in, looked at it, fixed it, and the machine is back in business.
  • Vladimir, Kaliningrad. I purchased Zubr-8 in 2014. There is a need for such equipment, since operating a tractor is sometimes unprofitable in terms of cost of ownership. For example, I use a walk-behind tractor only for cultivating small areas of land. I use the 8-horsepower Bison only for its intended purpose, and I try not to overload it so that the resource will last longer. Reliability is excellent, no breakdowns in three years of use.
  • Igor, Yaroslavl. A good workhorse for the money. Bison 8 is a worthy option for those who want to save money without sacrificing performance. I have an 8-horsepower Bison, and its power is enough for me to spare. In addition, you can choose attachments for it, with which the functionality increases significantly.
  • Peter, Kursk. I praise the Zubr for its good cross-country ability and power reserves. In addition, the cultivator is very economical, and fuel costs pay off over a long period of use.
  • Nikita, Moscow region. I will say right away that I was disappointed in Zubr. Before mass use, it was run-in as required, filled with oil, checked the condition of filters and other consumables. The engine is often not enough for my needs - 8 horsepower is still not enough to handle large areas, and I don’t have a tractor. The walk-behind tractor also suffers from increased fuel consumption. And the reliability is mediocre - something constantly falls off. For example, recently something buzzed in the box and oil started leaking. Filters clog quickly and need to be changed endlessly. On the other hand, what else could you expect from cheap technology? In general, before work, I made it a habit to carry out a technical inspection of this miracle every morning, so that there would be fewer problems during the work process.

It is difficult even for a person with good physical fitness to carry out a large amount of work on a plot of land alone. To cope with work and maintain health, you definitely need helpers. The most reliable and versatile assistant that will take on all the hard work is agricultural machinery - and others.

A unique representative of agricultural machinery is the walk-behind tractor. This unit to some extent resembles a miniature tractor. Being a self-propelled device with an engine, the walk-behind tractor has a chassis with one axle, has the ability to select speed, and in addition, the ability to additionally equip it with towed devices or attachments.

When choosing a model, you need to remember that the fuel used to operate the Zubr walk-behind tractor is gasoline or diesel fuel.

Gasoline-powered models are more economical when purchasing the walk-behind tractor itself, but more expensive when purchasing fuel during use. In addition, such walk-behind tractors are less powerful and are usually used in small areas.

Motoblocks Zubr diesel are more powerful. Therefore, they can be used when transporting large and heavy loads, they have higher speed qualities, but at the same time they are heavier than gasoline ones, and they are also characterized by noisier operation.

Today, land plots are cultivated with different models of walk-behind tractors:

  • gasoline (from 5 to 6.5 hp) - use on a plot of 15 to 30 acres;
  • diesel (6 hp) - processing from 30 to 60 acres;
  • medium gasoline (9 hp) - work on the same areas from 30 to 60 acres;
  • medium diesel (9 hp) - plots from 60 to 80 acres;
  • Heavy diesel walk-behind tractors Zubr are used on large areas: walk-behind tractor 9 hp. - 1-2 ha, from 10 to 12 hp. — 2-4 ha, 15 hp - more than 5 hectares.

Which of the technologies offered today should you choose? One of the best options is the Zubr walk-behind tractor.

At first I doubted the quality of the equipment, as I was confused by the Chinese assembly. As it turned out, it was completely in vain. I bought a JR-Q78, for some reason it was written - made in Belarus, although it is known that this is Chinese equipment. During the first year, the walk-behind tractor worked without breakdowns. A year later I changed the bearing, no more problems. I have been using the equipment for five years, it starts without problems.

I bought an 8 liter ZUBR walk-behind tractor. With. After running it in, I immediately attached the potato digger and tried it out on the field. The device is somewhat heavy to operate, so I am considering purchasing an adapter. There is enough power for work and transportation.

Land owners can choose a suitable Zubr walk-behind tractor. There are equipment on sale with different performance levels. To expand the capabilities of the walk-behind tractor, you can buy attachments.

General characteristics for heavy diesel motoblocks Zubr

Water cooling is a very useful option for this walk-behind tractor; it holds approximately 1.5 liters (for an 8 hp engine).

Gearbox - mixed type, mechanical, 6 forward/2 reverse, driven by a spur gear. Engine power – from 8 hp. up to 14 hp

Lubrication system – gear pump with pressure splash lubrication system.

Large wheels: 6.00 - 12 with ground clearance of 210 mm. The speed according to the technical specifications is up to 25 km/h. Control - differential with forced locking. There is no other way to turn this walk-behind tractor.

A 12V, 60W generator built into the engine powers the headlight and recharges the battery. Drive - two V-belts, from the engine shaft to the gearbox.

Ring brakes with expansion pads usually come unadjusted from the factory J.

The attachments of the Zubr walk-behind tractor, which are included in the kit, are an active rototiller and an adjustable, rotating plow.

The cutter has side and top protection, and a not very large processing depth - up to 20 cm, width - 80-90 cm, depending on the model. It is driven by a gearbox coupled with a power take-off shaft. The entire structure can be uncoupled and a cover, which is a towbar, can be placed on the gearbox. Let me make a reservation right away that oil is poured into the box through this cap.

A good addition would be a seat; it clings to the cutter guard and has a support wheel, while the operator is “suspended” above the ground. Still, it’s not entirely convenient to constantly follow him.

You can also attach a vibrating potato digger to the Zubr diesel walk-behind tractor, a reversible plow to heavy walk-behind tractors, a pump to belt walk-behind tractors, a mounted snow blower, a segment mower and even a screw splitter for chopping firewood with a belt drive J.

In fact, the technology is not very bad if you are lucky enough to buy a well-built walk-behind tractor, and you treat it wisely.
