The EO-5126 excavator belongs to the class of heavy earth-moving equipment of the 5th size group. It is used in quarries, when digging pits, trenches, laying canals, demolishing structures, and in many other jobs that require high power and efficiency of the equipment used.
Features and advantages of the EO-5126 excavator
A single-bucket universal hydraulic excavator built on a tracked chassis, model EO-5126, is produced by Uralvagonzavod OJSC. It is designed to work with soils up to category 4 inclusive, as well as with frozen or rocky rocks, subject to their preliminary loosening.
For the convenience of the operator, the installed cabin is protected from vibrations and the penetration of extraneous noise. The large windshield is equipped with two windshield wipers. For comfortable work at low temperatures, the cabin is equipped with a heater.

"Standard"
The “standard” version of the EO-5126 excavator is designed to work in the widest temperature ranges, in northern conditions with frosts down to -40?C, and in regions with heat up to +40?C. For such conditions, all-season oil can be used.
"Tropical"
For work in climatic conditions with high temperatures, up to +55? C, the “tropical” version of the excavator is designed.
Scope of application of the EO-5126 excavator
The universal crawler-mounted hydraulic excavator EO-5126 is designed for digging construction pits, trenches for laying pipelines, power cables, and collectors. The high performance, maneuverability, and reliability of this equipment allows it to be used for the development of unfrozen soils or loosened rocks. An excavator can load soil into the back of a truck, such as the Ural-55571, or move it to a dump a considerable distance from the edge of the pit. The spacious bucket and rotating platform provide good performance indicators for the production process.
Performance Metrics
With a bucket with a nominal capacity of 1.25 cubic meters, the machine can grab up to 1.5 m3 of rock at a time, including loosened pieces of rocky or frozen soil up to half a meter in size. The operating cycle time is only 17 seconds. During an eight-hour shift, special equipment can manage to dig a pit with a volume of about 100 cubic meters or more, this will depend on the strength of the rock and the terrain. The excavator can be used to load rock onto the Chieftain 2100 screening plant.
Distinctive characteristics

EO-5126 is equipped with a 4-stroke, 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of up to 180 hp, a shaft speed of 1700 rpm, and water cooling. The tracks have a width of 0.6 m for regular versions and 0.9 meters for widened or swamp ones. The length of the base is 3.8 meters, and the ground clearance is 47.5 cm. The machine is capable of moving at a speed of 4 km/h, overcoming ascents and descents of up to 35 degrees of inclination. The hydraulic system powers 3 hydraulic pumps, 2 travel hydraulic motors, one rotation, hydraulic cylinders for the boom, arm, and bucket. The maximum pressure in the equipment system reaches 28 MPa, the drive and rotation drive - up to 20 MPa, the control system - up to 3.5 MPa. The electrical equipment has a voltage of 24V, consists of two batteries, an 800 W generator, a starter, indicators and meters.
Working equipment
In most cases, a backhoe bucket is used for excavation work in quarries, when laying trenches, on construction sites, and during road construction. In addition to the installed standard attachments, the excavator can use interchangeable working tools.
Standard
The main working tool is a backhoe bucket with a capacity of 1.25 m3. To open the road surface and loosen rocky, heavy or frozen soils, a loosening tooth weighing 221 kg and with a force on the working cutting edge of up to 280 kN is designed.
Standard equipment includes: monoblock boom with handle, hydraulic cylinders, pipelines.
