"Galichanin" KS-85713: characteristics of a unit with a lifting capacity of 100 tons?
What to do when work of increased complexity involving lifting and moving loads has to be performed at construction sites remote from each other? The best solution to the problem is to use a truck crane. Leading contracting organizations opt for the KS-85713 installation, placed on a Volvo chassis - a 10*4 truck wheel arrangement. A special feature of the special equipment produced by JSC "Galich Truck Crane Plant" is its extremely high load capacity - up to 100 tons. What do you need to know about the benefits of this new type of technology? The advantages of a lifting mechanism, firstly, are associated with the technical characteristics of the truck on which the installation is mounted. The advantages of the chassis include:
- high reliability;
- impressive load-bearing capacity;
- ease of control;
- Possibility of operation on access roads in different conditions.
Secondly, the advantages of advanced special equipment are the results of innovations with which the developers have equipped the crane. First of all, it should be noted that there is an advanced diesel-hydraulic drive. Its components are:
- powerful engine from Volvo TAD 541 VE, liquid-cooled (power criteria - 129 kW);
- air purification filter;
- fuel supply filter;
- system that removes exhaust gases.
Ease of control as the most important advantage of KS-85713
One of the most important advantages of the lifting device is the presence of an electro-proportional LUDV system. With its help, it is possible to separate the flow of working fluid, which creates the prerequisites for:
- saving electrical energy;
- reducing pressure losses;
- precise adjustment of the fluid used during operation.
The main component of the hydraulic system of special equipment is the BoschRexroth mechanism. A device developed and produced at the Arzamas Electromechanical Plant is responsible for the safe operation of the crane. Its main purpose is to provide timely signaling about the machine being overloaded and the presence of conditions under which it can tip over. The crane can also be operated at a site with installed structures. Minimizing the risk of hazardous voltages is ensured by the capabilities of the screen protection module.
Features of arrow manufacturing
The KS-85713 boom is made of DOMEX and WELDOX steel. Its “Ovoid” section is made on the basis of bent profiles (all-metal). In transport condition, the length of the element is 13.6 meters. When all five sections are extended, the reach length reaches 51 meters. The coverage area becomes maximum. Thanks to the telescoping functionality of the boom, with a load on a hook it is possible to perform a number of tasks of increased complexity (including installing a load in cramped conditions, in places where access is difficult). The coverage area increases due to the installation of an extension cord - an 18-meter two-section jib. It is made of pipes designed to withstand impressive mechanical influences. The second section is installed on the base of the boom - it can be operated separately from the first. There are three main modes for installing extension cords at angles:
- 0 degrees;
- 15 degrees;
- 30 degrees.
The boom head is equipped with a single block. With its help, a set of works is performed with a single supply of rope.
Technical capabilities of the new generation lifting mechanism
The design of the lower frame is non-standard. Thanks to this, the largest dimension of the support contour is 7.8 meters by 8.6 meters. The crane is capable of performing a wide range of work - the circular zone is 360 degrees (which does not lead to a loss of its lifting criteria). In cramped conditions, the outrigger beams do not extend fully. Another advantage of the unit is the functionality of the planetary gearbox (with disc brakes), which is responsible for turning the crane and lifting the load. This allows new generation technology to cope with all possible tasks. In the process of practical operation, the installation uses special counterweights, which are needed to radically improve cargo criteria on long- and medium-range flights. Bringing the crane into its normal position does not require the involvement of either human resources or the use of lifting devices. An obvious advantage of the KS-85713 crane is the presence of two winches at once - they provide the main and also auxiliary lifting. This allows a series of independent lifting and lowering activities to be carried out using the jib.
Working conditions: how does the KS-85713 operator function?
Acceptable operating parameters in the cabin of the lifting mechanism are provided by the Webasto split system. The cabin tips over. In order to increase the viewing angle, the front glass is panoramic. This creates the prerequisites for increasing the viewing angle during the work. The crane operator fully observes the movement of loads when the boom is tilted at different angles, with different degrees of its extension. The operator's workplace is equipped with a dashboard (the placement of controls on it is carried out taking into account ergonomic requirements). This allows the crane operator to work in a comfortable environment, and also significantly reduce psychophysical stress. Work processes can be controlled smoothly using the joystick. The special regulators available on it provide auxiliary functions. The presence of a joystick eliminates the need to install a gas pedal in the cab - additional space is freed up for the operator’s feet.
