The Belarus-09N walk-behind tractor
is designed for plowing light soils, harrowing, cultivating, inter-row processing of potatoes and beets, mowing grass in gardens and orchards, on school and personal plots, as well as for transporting goods, stationary work driven by a PTO.
The Belarus walk-behind tractor is ideal for use in farms and household plots, on livestock farms, for work in greenhouses, orchards, vegetable gardens, parks and squares, in school grounds, etc. The Belarus-09H walk-behind tractor has a wide range of small-sized attachments for agricultural and public works[1].
Story
The Belarus-09N walk-behind tractor was designed in 1992. The first walk-behind tractor came off the production line in the same year. Over the years, the tractor has been modified. Belarus-09N is a modification of the originally produced Belarus-05 walk-behind tractor.
In December 2009, the Smorgon Aggregate Plant produced its 15,000th walk-behind tractor[2]. Walk-behind tractors are in good demand among consumers and therefore 5 thousand walk-behind tractors have been produced over the past year and a half. Every month, ~350 walk-behind tractors rolled off the assembly line, which were equipped with various mounted and trailed equipment.
On March 11, 2011, the 20,000th walk-behind tractor was assembled at the Smorgon Aggregate Plant[3]. Every month ~400 walk-behind tractors roll off the plant’s assembly line. Apart from Belarus, walk-behind tractors are supplied mainly to countries such as Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and more recently to Venezuela and the USA.
Device
The design of the walk-behind tractor has a classic design. A gasoline engine, fuel tank, clutch, gearbox and power take-off shaft are mounted on a metal frame. The platform is based on a single-axle bridge with two pneumatic wheels. To control the unit, special handles and a steering column, adjustable in various planes, are used. Thanks to the presence of a coupling device, it is possible to use the walk-behind tractor with various mounted and towed devices.

Engine
The MTZ-09N walk-behind tractors were equipped with single-cylinder four-stroke gasoline engines Honda GX270[4], Lifan LF177 or Kipor KG280[5]. Engine displacement is 270 cm3. Rated power 6.6 kW (9 hp).
Transmission
Motoblocks MTZ-09N were equipped only with a mechanical transmission. multi-plate clutch, permanently closed, operating in an oil bath with manual control; The gearbox is mechanical, stepped, with constant meshing of gears. Number of gears: 4 forward, 2 reverse.
Motoblock MTZ Belarus 09N-02 with WEIMA engine 13 hp + STs-00010 hitch
We offer you to purchase a high-quality Belarus 09N walk-behind tractor with a Belarusian-made WEIMA engine.
The walk-behind tractor is a single-axle two-wheeled chassis consisting of a four-stroke engine, power transmission and a reversible steering rod. The engine is attached to the clutch housing. Directly behind the engine is the power train, which includes the clutch, gearbox, final drive, positive locking gear differential, final drives and power take-off shaft.
The wheels are mounted on final drive flanges and equipped with pneumatic tires.
The track of the walk-behind tractor is variable, changing by rearranging the wheels.
A special hitch is provided for hanging agricultural implements and devices.
A steering rod is attached to the top cover of the transmission housing, on which the walk-behind tractor controls are located.
A walk-behind tractor with a WEIMA engine is capable of performing a number of different tasks assigned to it. And by equipping the walk-behind tractor with additional attachments, the list of such tasks increases significantly. Plowing, harrowing, cultivating, inter-row processing of potatoes and beets, mowing grass in various areas, as well as transporting goods - this is a small list of tasks where this walk-behind tractor will become your assistant.
Features of the Belarus 09N walk-behind tractor with WEIMA engine:
- has a multi-plate clutch, which is manually controlled;
- has a differential. This differential is a bevel gear differential with forced locking;
- has pneumatic tires size 6L-12. Tire air pressure varies from 0.08 MPa to 0.12 MPa and depends on the load on the walk-behind tractor;
- fuel supply is controlled by a cable-driven lever;
- has a PTO - power take-off shaft, which rotates at a frequency of 1200 rpm. The lever on the transmission housing controls the differential, and the lever controls the locking through the rod system;
- The brake system of the walk-behind tractor is installed on a trailer (the walk-behind tractor is aggregated with a trailer, which is purchased separately). The trailer is connected using a tubular coupling; the connecting point has a height of 369.5 mm;
- The walk-behind tractor has a rod steering, but if desired, it can be converted to reverse. It is also adjustable in height, as well as in the horizontal plane.
A walk-behind tractor with a WEIMA engine undergoes pre-sale preparation and is delivered to the consumer complete.
Each walk-behind tractor is supplied with a set of spare parts and tools, a passport, a technical description and operating instructions for the walk-behind tractor, and engine operational documentation.
Before starting operation, a new walk-behind tractor must be run-in for 50 hours. During the running-in process, the parts of the walk-behind tractor are broken in, which helps to increase the service life of all components and parts. Be sure to carry out running-in under partial load during light transport work.
ADVANTAGES of Belarus-09N-02 with Weima engine:
- Convenient and reliable to use.
- It has the largest wheels in its class with 6.5x12 tread.
- Equipped with a manual transmission with 6 speeds (4 forward and 2 rear).
- It is controlled using levers and regulators, and has comfortable ergonomic handles.
- The most powerful 13-horsepower engine among all MTZ-Belarus walk-behind tractors and mini-tractors
A walk-behind tractor with a WEIMA engine, complete with agricultural machines and implements, can be used to perform various tasks on small plots of land with light soils: plowing, cultivating, harrowing, harvesting grass, hilling potatoes and beets, and transporting goods. In addition, the walk-behind tractor can serve as a drive for a feed chopper, a circular saw, a pump and other machines and implements needed in a farmstead.
However, working on a walk-behind tractor will be a pleasure, and the work will be productive only if it is correctly combined with agricultural machines and implements and acquired small skills in work.
Depending on the type of work being performed and the agricultural machines and implements attached to the walk-behind tractor, set the appropriate wheel track, tire pressure, as well as the working or transport gear of the gearbox.
